My name is Julie Mallet-Paret and I’m a non-binary voice actor located in Vancouver, Canada. I’m a graduate of the Comprehensive Voice-Over Training Diploma program at On The Mic Training and have over 1000 hours of voiceover related training. I’m also a mathematician and computing scientist, having studied at the University of Alberta. I began voice acting in June 2020, after nearly a decade working as a data storyteller, public speaker, and teacher, and quickly fell in love with the art. While I love every area of voiceover, I have a deep passion for commercials, narration, and promos, as well as a delight for video games and creature noises. My voice is deep and feminine, known for its versatility, warmth, and gravitas. I adore the VO community and give back by running a weekly workout for my peers. Outside of voice acting I am also a drag performer, sketch comedian, and improv artist, and enjoy bringing these skills into the booth.
